I have to perform all these actions on my Database can anybody please help me how can I do it?
1. How can I Ho can I Determine if the database has a DNS entry or is it accessed by server name or IP address anywhere in both 2008-R2 and 2012?

3. How can I know any link servers touch this database in both 2008-R2 and 2012?

Your question is rather strange and does not make much sense. You keep mentioning database and then 2008-R2 and 2012. When you say database to you mean an individual database or an instance of SQL server, two very different items. Also with 2008-R2 and 2012 again are you talking about SQL server or the Windows OS?
